Freshman 4 Boy Takes Gold!

Although this year's regionals was smaller than previous ones, you couldn't tell it by the level of competition. All the teams that attended were there to win and represent Southern Region at Nationals again this year. GT Speed qualified 21 skaters in Individuals for Nationals.

Gregory Gorman and Dallas Hebert both won their divisions and they anchored the Freshman 4 boy to a Gold as well. For the smaller ones, Blair Hall and Michael Taylor also came home with top honors. In JO, the big news of the day was the Senior men's division as GT nearly swept all positions, earning the top three spots on the podium.

During the Awards night, in which the Southern Region honors those that placed at Nationals the previous year, Dallas Hebert was awarded JO Skater of the Year - a singular honor -- as this is voted on by all the coaches in Southern Region. Also recognized were the skaters from Southern Region that made the Jr. World Team.

Congratulations to all skaters who have worked so hard. Keep it up -- Lincoln Nebraska, here we come!
