The 11th Annual Halloween Classic in Pensacola, Fl was sponsored this year by Riedell. One tradition which was also continued was the Halloween party held in the Comfort Inn conference room and sponsored by GT Speed and Landmark. Although the format has changed from year to year, the one constant has been the amount of fun had by the little ones. This year, about 50 kids ages 3 to 15 participated in the party. Some munchkins went all out and got really dressed up and some got busy with hair paint and "attitudes". But, everyone got into the spirit of things. Did you catch the little one that came as Derek Downing? Complete with the Fila/Verducci uniform (several sizes too big) from last year. What about the Little Angel?

In addition to the costume contest, we had a mummy wrapping contest, ate lots of pizza and had our "trick or treat" line in fine shape. We gave away a door prize and had a lot of fun. You missed a great time if you didn't make it this year -- so get on the ball and come in 2001!

The GT-Cumming parents would like to give special thanks to some special people who pitched in and helped when we were short-handed. Thank you to Linda Blair from Roswell, Debbie Bowe - Team Florida, Karen Manganello - Landmark and Brian and his wife from First Coast Speed. (Sorry Brian, we never did learn your last name!) We really appreciate the way you pitched in and got involved in the fun. The party was much better for your participation.
